6 Beautiful Paris Hotels for Your Next Trip to Paris

I was planning a trip to Paris over my upcoming break when I received a devastating email: our beloved Raphael Hotel is closing for one year and a half for a major renovation! Oh no! So, I had to roll up my sleeves and do some serious research on where to stay. Not many hotels compare to the luxury, comfort, safety and reliability of the beautiful, charming Raphael!

These hotels are in fantastic but very different neighborhoods. I’ve also rounded up a variety of price points, so hopefully there is something for everyone here. By clicking on the name of the hotel, you can see photos of the property and rooms. Please note that by clicking on some links, at no cost to you, I may make a small commission to help bring you valuable Paris content!

Hôtel de Berri Champs-Élysées, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris

The Hôtel de Berri Champs-Élysées is conveniently located in the 8th arrondisement. I like staying on this side of town as it is easier to get in and out of Paris to the airport. Also, it is located along line 1 of the metro, one of the main lines for accessing the whole city. The hotel itself dates back to the early 1900’s and is nestled within a rare green oasis in the heart of the city. The hotel features some of the 20th Century’s greatest names in decorative arts. As a Marriott property, you can use this link to activate cash back and other deals with this booking.

Address: 18-22 Rue De Berri, Paris, 75008

What to do in the 8th arrondisement: Visit l’Arc de Triomphe!

If you do stay at the Hôtel Berri, you will want to be sure to book a ticket to climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, and have one of the best views of all of Paris, including of course, the Eiffel Tower.

Le Narcisse Blanc Hôtel & Spa

A hip hotel and spa located in the fabulous 7th Arrondissement (one of my favorite neighborhoods), Le Narcisse Blanc Hotel and Spa combines classic Parisian elegance with a more modern touch. This boutique hotel was designed with the style and spirit of Cleo de Merode- muse to legendary artists like Toulouse-Lautrec – in mind. And, importantly, the hotel rooms are sound-proofed for a perfect sleep (anyone who knows about motor scooters in Paris will appreciate this feature!). The hotel has a concierge to assist with tours and activities. The 7th arrondisement neighborhood is a delight with rue Cler close by as well as the Eiffel Tower, the Musee d Orsay, the Champ de Mars, Invalides and of course the amazing shopping that the 7th offers. Le Narcisse Blanc Hotel and Spa is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property, which guarantees a luxury stay! And the hotel features Fora perks.

Address: 19 Blvd De La Tour Maubourg, Paris, 75007

What to do in the 7th arrondisement: Visit Invalides!

Many visitors to Paris do not realize that the Invalides (pictured here) isn’t just where Napoleon’s tomb lies. It is also one of the most fascinating war museums in the world, the Musée de l’Armée, with displays spanning from Roman times to WWII

Hôtel Dame des Arts

The Hôtel Dame des Arts is located in the Latin Quarter, a lively area walking distance to La Sorbonne and Notre Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg gardens and the Panthéon. A very instagrammable hotel in the 6th arrondisement, the Hôtel Dame des Arts even has some rooms with Eiffel Tower views. It also features a fun Rooftop Bar as well as a secret garden courtyard. The hotel is rated exceptional and features Fora perks.

Address: 4 Rue Danton, Paris , Île-de-France, 75006, France

Jardin de Luxembourg

What to do in the 6th arrondisement: Visit the Jardin de Luxembourg or the Notre Dame!

The Jardin de Luxembourg is a wonderful garden in which to take a leisurely stroll, and you don’t need to book a tour. However, not too far away, the Notre Dame Cathedral has recently re-opened and now you can re-visit the cathedral, which is an easy walk from the hotel. This tour also includes a tour of the fantastic, stained-glass St. Chappelle, which you do not want to miss:

Relais Christine

Tucked away in a quiet street in the Latin quarter on Paris left bank- the Relais Christine is set in a 17th century mansion surrounding a flower-filled cobblestone courtyard. Designed as a refined authentic Left bank home, the property has been decorated with exclusive French fabrics and antiques. The lobby is elegant. The mansion was built on the remains of a 13th century abbey and you can see the historic stone vaults in the luxurious Guerlain spa. The Latin quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Pres are full of wonderful shopping, art galleries, antique shops and many famous cafes and restaurants. The Relais Christine is a member of Relais Chateaux and offers Fora Perks.

Address: 3 Rue Christine, Paris, 75006

What to do in the Latin Quarter: Visit Shakespeare & Co.

One of my favorite stops is a visit to the world famous “Shakespeare & Co.”, the 100’s year old English language book shop. You can do this before or after your Notre Dame tour as it is quite close. There is often a line these days to enter the bookshop, but it is definitely worth it.

Hôtel L’Eldorado Paris

L’Eldorado is in the Batignolles neighborhood, not too far from Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur. The hotel featues an urban garden, courtyard pavilion, and lots of 19th-century embellishments.

Address: 18 Rue Des Dames, Paris, Île-de-France, 75017

What to do in the 17th arrondisement: Head up to the Montmartre neighborhood!

Want to explore the charming Montmartre neighborhood? Here is an excellent tour to help you explore the area:

Hôtel Providence de Paris

This small, cozy 18 room Hôtel Providence de Paris is located a bit off the beaten path in the 10th arrondisement and is rated “superb”. This hotel, which was built in 1854. Located in an area known as the ‘Haut-Marais’, it is near Place de la Republique, the Bastille, Canal St. Martin and not too far from Beaubourg/ Centre Pompidou. The hotel also features 1 Michelin Key, which indicates an “exceptional hotel stay”. Rates seem quite reasonable, around $300 for a standard room and does qualify for Fora perks.

Address: 90 Rue René Boulanger, Paris, 75010

Place de la Republique, Paris, France

What to do in the 10th arrondisement: Take a cooking class!

If you are staying in the 10th, then you are not far from a fantastic open air ‘marché’ that Paris is so famous for. If you want to take a fantastic cooking course where you shop and tour the market and then go prepare and eat all that fabulous food, I highly recommend “La Cuisine Paris”. I took the tour and you can view the video here. You can read the owner’s book, “The French Ingredient” and learn how an American started a cooking school in Paris. You can book a class here.
